For each board game that you purchase you will earn points for that game. Points are rewarded based on a .10% multiplier. This is our way of rewarding loyal customers.   Being a loyal customer is an added bonus to the extremely low prices we offer.    Example #1 Earning Points:   Joe purchases Arkham Horror®.  On our site Arkham Horror® costs $42.00.    $42.00 X .10 = 4 points    All games purchased earn points based on a .10 multiplier. Redeeming Your Rewards   In order to redeem rewards, you have to have made atleast one purchase. When you purchase your first item you will be prompted to create and account.  Your account is where your Rewards points will be stored.   Now that you have created an account, you can login to your account to view your account page. To login select the My Account link in the upper right of the screen above the search box.   In the screenshot below you can see the options available to you when you create an account with GameShepherd.com . You will be able to track your purchases, create wish lists, manage your address book, track and create issues requests and track your rewards points.     When you purchase an item your Reward Points will accumulate in your My Rewards section of your account. When you feel you have accumulated enough reward points to purchase an item, select the Redeem link next to the My Rewards header.   When you click the Redeem link you will be taken to a page with all products and their rewards cost. All products minus gift certificates are included in the rewards program. Also, your rewards NEVER expire!   Example #2 Redeeming Points:   Joe has bought 5 games from GameShepherd.com™. All board games he has purchased has been on average $45.00.     Joe has 23 reward points.   The 23 points Joe has been rewarded will go toward the SRP (Suggested Retail Price) of any game.  Joe is interested in Carcassone Inns and Cathedrals®.  The Purchase Price is 13.00, but the SRP is 17.99.  So, the redeem amount for this board game is 18 points (SRP rounded).   Joe has enough points to purchase Carcassone Inns and Cathedrals® with his Rewards Points. Earning Extra Points   You can earn extra points by referring your friends to the site.  Once you have made a purchase with GameShepherd.com you are eligible to earn Refer-A-Friend rewards points.  When you refer a friend to the site and they purchase atleast one items from GameShepherd.com you will earn 3 reward points for sending that person to our site.
